Boltens Gård is almost fully occupied – only two commercial units left

Boltens Gård has once again established itself as an attractive location for running a business and is now approaching full occupancy, with only two commercial units remaining. The courtyard comprises 26 commercial units, ranging from retail and offices to cafés, restaurants, and event spaces, as well as 32 residential units, making it a dynamic and vibrant place.

Its location at Kongens Nytorv, surrounded by listed buildings, along with two entrances from Store Kongensgade and Gothersgade, makes Boltens Gård a central destination for both Copenhageners and tourists throughout the year.

Life at Boltens

Throughout 2024, Boltens Gård has undergone a comprehensive development focused on creating a harmonious and dynamic mix of commercial tenants. The ambition has been to establish a long-term concept in which businesses complement one another and collectively attract visitors.

“We aim to create a place where both Copenhageners and tourists can enjoy a unique experience—culinary as well as entertainment-driven—and one that functions throughout the day, not only in the evening and at night,” says Kenneth Ohlendorff, COO at Kereby.

“The composition of tenants has therefore been a key part of our work in developing a long-term concept. It’s about ensuring that each business complements the others and helps make Boltens Gård a place people want to return to.”

There is already strong activity in the courtyard, and the vision of a vibrant commercial environment is gradually being realised. Throughout 2024, Boltens Gård has welcomed several entertainment and event concepts, and early this year, three exciting new food and beverage concepts are set to open.

Visitors may notice some construction activity across several units, which are currently being prepared for upcoming tenants. These refurbishments are carried out in close collaboration between the tenants and Kereby to ensure that each space is tailored to the individual needs of the businesses—while respecting the historic surroundings.

New additions to Boltens Gård include:

  • Camping Danmark
An innovative mini-golf concept combined with snacks and drinks.

  • On Air Games
A quiz show arena where guests can take part in TV-style experiences.

  • Ølhaven
A high-end beer bar serving craft beers in the courtyard’s oldest building, dating back to 1755.

  • Bánh Mí Cph
A Vietnamese deli serving homemade sandwiches on crispy French baguettes filled with authentic Vietnamese flavours. Ideal for a flavourful lunch, complemented by fresh salads and refined French pastries. Opening in spring 2025 with frontage on Store Kongensgade.

  • Brasserie Sài Gòn
A combination of authentic Vietnamese cuisine and French gastronomic heritage, paired with quality French wines. The brasserie will open in spring 2025 in the heart of Boltens Gård, featuring a cosy small courtyard.

  • Mr. Pho
A well-loved destination for Vietnamese food enthusiasts, known for its signature dish—the classic pho soup—along with a range of other authentic specialities. The restaurant is currently undergoing refurbishment and will open with frontage on Gothersgade in February 2025

Boltens Gård has also attracted a number of office-based companies, including Elgaard Architecture, Ghost Ship Games, Lyders & Gudsøre, Monterro Denmark, Proper, as well as the online store Akua Objects and the nail salon Sky Nails.

The newest tenants join an already established business community, which also includes the restaurant Den Lille Fede, the bar Den Jyske Ambassade, the retail store Statement Copenhagen, as well as Charlotte Othmar and Bella ApS.

The observant reader may notice that the number of tenants does not immediately correspond to the 26 commercial units. This is because some businesses have chosen to occupy multiple units in order to optimise their concept and operations.

A courtyard in constant development

Kereby continuously works to create the best possible conditions for both businesses and visitors in the courtyard. This includes refurbishments of units, improved lighting at entrances, bicycle parking for existing tenants, and clearer signage to make navigation easier. There is also close dialogue with tenants to ensure optimal business conditions and to further develop Boltens Gård as a dynamic and attractive destination.

With the expectation that the final available commercial units will find their perfect match in early 2025, Boltens Gård looks ahead to welcoming a new chapter in its development.
